On August 28, 2021, the Patriot Park skate cross competition was held in the Patriot Park.
This competition is the second in a series of skatecross competitions scheduled for 2021 at Patriot Park.
Athletes competed on the track of the world's first training complex for extreme downhill ice skating, built in the Park, which operates all year round. This extreme descent is one of the longest runs in the world, with a length of 500 meters. The creators of the track were able to integrate most of the existing elements into its configuration: a ramp, a 180-degree turn, a table, waves, a flybox, for athletes of different levels of training. Comfortable covered stands have been prepared for spectators and fans.
